• Cleanliness requirements of the machinery prior to arrival
• What import permits are required.
• Bio-security risk material

Used Machinery vs New Machinery

There is a major difference between importing new vs used:

Used Machinery will always be subject to greater scrutiny at boarder control then new machinery.  And quarantine Inspections will be required at all times to determine if the machinery meets the acceptable cleanliness standards of the Department of Agriculture.
It is the importers responsibility to ensure that all machinery arrives in Australia free from Biosecurity Risk material such as: soil, plants and animal materials.
